Corrects Speedometer. Are your Mustangs speedometer and odometer readings off because you changed your rear gear ratio or tire size? Then you need a Hypertech Speedometer Calibrator to re-program your Mustangs computer to fix this annoying problem. The Hypertech will not only correct your speedometer and odometer readings, but will also correct part-throttle shifting, an issue of the automatic transmission not shifting correctly because of incorrect speed information.
Diagnostics. The Hypertech Speedometer Calibrator not only corrects for gear and tire changes, but can also be used as a diagnostic code reader. Save yourself hundreds of dollars each year by reading and clearing your own computer codes rather than paying a dealer to do the same. Its as easy as a few simple steps.
Easy to use; easy to restore. When you upload the customized Hypertech program file to your vehicle, the device automatically downloads and saves the stock tuning settings. To return the vehicle to its factory settings, just plug the Hypertech Calibrator back in, select the option to restore the factory settings, and you’re done. It is recommended to return the vehicle’s computer back to the factory settings, before taking it into a dealership for service.
Internet Updateable. Hypertech Speedometer Calibrators come with a USB cable and a CD containing software to enable quick updates or upgrades over the internet. If your vehicle has a new calibration not available when your Speedometer Calibrator was manufactured, it is possible that you will see a “Cal not found” message on the Speedometer Calibrator screen.
