High Flow Exhaust. Borla engineers have designed this cat-back to deliver a significant increase in airflow over the restrictive stock exhaust system for a dramatic increase in horsepower and a louder sound.
Aggressive Stinger Sound. The aggressive sound of the Borla Axle-Back comes from their signature “S-Type” Stinger Mufflers. The Stinger Mufflers are manufactured from aircraft-quality T-304 stainless steel and feature a Straight-through baffled design to produce an aggressive muscle car sound.
Durable Borla Construction. The S-Type Cat-Back a.k.a “Stinger” system is made from mandrel-bent 2.5″ aerospace-grade austenitic stainless steel, and features 4″ brightly polished tips for a super-aggressive appearance. This system also features Borla’s popular “S-Type” mufflers for an equally aggressive sound.
Application. Designed as a direct bolt on, this Borla Stinger S-Type catback will bolt straight up to the factory Mid-Pipe without any modifications required on the 2005 to 2009 GT and Bullitt Mustangs to give your Pony a rich muscle car sound.
Technical Note. Americanmuscle recommends adding the 2005+ Mustang 304 Stainless Steel Exhaust Hanger Kit from the drop down option above, to provide more strength, stability and a cleaner installed appearance. If you have a 2007 Mustang you may need the kit for correct installation.
