This tuner includes multiple functions that puts the speed shop in your palm: Monitors, gauges, diagnostic tools and tuning. From adjusting the speedometer to match large aftermarket tires, to changing transmission shift points and/or shift firmness, to monitoring 4 gauge functions simultaneously, the GT lets you manage it all. Its tuning capabilities affords you the opportunity to really unleash your Mustang GT’s power and performance.
Performance Gains. Further enhance the performance of your Mustang with the GT Tuner that includes pre-configured tune files from Bully Dog. When your Mustang rolled off the assembly line, Ford programmed it to cater to the needs of the daily driver, not the performance enthusiast who adds aftermarket bolt-on modifications in the search of more power. So, if your Mustang is bone stock or if you have added a cold air intake, throttle body or exhaust mods, you should upgrade to a pre-configured Bully Dog tune to see the full power potential your Mustang can make.
Built for Handiness. The Bully Dog GT Tuner is designed all round for convenient, intuitive use and multi-layered usefulness. Beyond the preloaded tunes, the tuner also includes numerous other functions and adjustments. It can read and clear DTC codes. The physical construction of the tuner makes it easy to use also, with straightforward controls, a large full-color screen with easy to read text, numbers, and gauges, and an included pivoting mount arm that lets you set up the tuner exactly where you want it on dash or windshield.
Rapid Setup. This tuner is engineered and programmed to match up easily to the intended model years and engine type it’s designed for, making installation a snap. Updates download directly onto the tuner from the Internet, and it is upgradable with new functions and programs the same way. A trickle charger should be used during installation.
Application. The Bully Dog GT Tuner is designed for use with 2005-2010 Ford Mustang GT models equipped with a 4.6L engine. Please note this device does not support custom tuning.
