NT555 G2. Does the idea of track car handling performance make you smile? Then you need to get yourself a set of sticky Nitto NT555 G2 Ultra High Performance Summer Tires. Nitto specifically engineered their NT555 G2 Tires to improve the traction and handling performance of your Mustang in both dry and wet weather conditions. NT555 G2 Tires are for performance oriented drivers that want quick off the line acceleration and the ability to negotiate curves with total confidence whether they are on the street or at track.
Silica Tire Compound. Nitto NT555 G2 Tires are made using a proprietary silica compound. Nitto uses a special bonding agent during their manufacturing process to increase the interaction between the base compound elements to further reinforce their chemical bonds. This specialized bonding agent helps create a tire with a higher compound stiffness which results in better cornering performance in both wet and dry conditions.
Excellent Handling. The Nitto NT555 G2 features an all new directional tread pattern with twin center ribs and larger tapered tread blocks for excellent dry traction as well as increased cornering and straight-line stability. The Nitto NT555 G2’s tread pattern not only provides excellent handling to your ride, but also adds a great aggressive appearance to the look of your Mustang.
Wet Weather Performance. The four circumferential center grooves and the lateral shoulder grooves of the Nitto NT555 G2 Tire effectively channel water from the contact patch to provide greater wet weather traction. The reinforced shoulder tread blocks of the NT555 G2 are designed improve both wet and dry cornering grip. This combination of grooves and tread blocks help to greatly reduce the possibility of hydroplaning.
Application. This Nitto NT555 G2 255/35-20 Tire is designed for use on 2005 to 2026 Mustangs, including the V6, EcoBoost, GT, Bullitt, BOSS and Shelby models with 20″ wheels. Sold individually.
